Happy Birthday Becky

It's my sweetheart's birthday and I wanted to take a moment to say how much I love and appreciate her. I am not sure that I could ever have words to describe a person that makes me so happy. You hear all the time that people are looking for true love, and I know that I found it with Becky.

In our lives, we take mental pictures that remain with us and bring us such joy. Here are just a few of my fondest "pictures" of Becky...

• Sitting with Becky in the parking lot in Moon Apartments, talking the night away.
• A nervous walk to campus, and her warning to me about the importance of holding her hand.
  
• Giving her an engagement ring at the Bountiful Temple, watching my favorite sunset.
• Watching her hold our first born daughter in the hospital.
• Listening to Becky and the kids sing hymns at the piano.
• Watching Becky fight for our children's educational choices and withstanding the slings and arrows of the opposition. What incredible courage.
  
• Seeing Becky in the Celestial Room of the temple.
• Becky and her family discussing everything under the sun.
  
• Seeing her with her grandparents in Canada, sharing stories, and singing songs

I am so happy to say that I idolize Becky. I want to be more like her in every way. I wish I had her righteousness, patience, concern, and compassion. I hope that I can be everything she hopes me to be.
